NYC Child Therapy, PLLC provides psychological and behavioral services for children, adolescents and their families. We’re seeking applicants with experience treating anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD in children and teens. Additionally, modality experience providing CBT and PMT (Parent Management Training). We are always in search of NY State Certified and Licensed professionals. Accordingly, therapists must also have their own malpractice insurance and NPI number.

NYC Child Therapy, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to join our team in Forest Hills, Queens. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to children employing evidence-based CBT techniques to address a range of emotional and behavioral issues. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent.
- Current Opening – Monday – Sunday hours are available for therapist to create their own schedules on a fee for service basis (primarily after school and weekend hours). This position will require 2 days in person. Interested applicants must be able to see a minimum of 15 clients per week with a gradual caseload build.
- Must have at least 3 years previous experience providing individual CBT-based therapy to children, focusing on treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
- Demonstrated expertise in CBT with relevant certification or advanced training preferred.
- Proficiency in using CBT techniques and tools effectively in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of developmental psychology and the ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to different age groups.
