Alicia Diorio is a Child Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Forest Hills, Queens. She has been practicing in the mental health field for 16 years and has acquired formal training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinical work on the Inpatient Child Psychiatric Unit and in the Partial Hospitalization Program for Children and Adolescents, has provided a wide range of expertise in mental health and psychiatric conditions.
Currently in private practice, she specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents. An Integrative approach combines techniques from various orientations. Types of therapy may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Play Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Orientations are often combined for the benefit of each patient.

Christina Hoodho is a Nationally Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist, and New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. She earned her Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University. Christina has worked therapeutically with a diverse clientele of all ages and backgrounds including but not limited to: inpatient psychiatric clients, children with disabilities, children with autism, minors in group homes/foster care and the LGTQ community. For over a decade, she has acquired a wide range of experience with both children and adults. Christina he has served in an array of settings including schools, hospitals, community organizations, recreation programs, cultural institutions and more.
Christina facilitates individual psychotherapy, art therapy and group therapy. She is also an executive functioning coach for children and adolescents. In addition, provides supervision and staff trainings to educate professionals on the medicinal qualities of the arts. Having personally experienced healing through eastern medicine, Ayurveda, holistic health and Native American shamanism, Christina often integrates Holistic techniques in her therapeutic practice. She also enjoys employing her creativity as a teaching artist. Her versatile experiences serve as a solid foundation for working with children and families.

Julie Schnur is a Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist with a Bachelors degree in Child Development from Tufts University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Today, she specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and families.
Julie has extensive experience providing individual, group and family therapy. The psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents in a hospital setting, as well as working with children and families in community centers and in practice practice, has allowed Julie to gain a diverse understanding of mental health conditions among children and teens.
Julie’s areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma and LGBTQ+ related issues.
In addition to clinical practice, Julie has conducted clinical research in child and adolescent development. Research topics include the identity development of adopted children, the effects of maternal smoking during pregnancy on adolescent development, and the efficacy of treatment models for substance abuse in adolescents.
Julie utilizes a warm, integrative approach incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and play therapy techniques. She values compassion and unconditional positive support as her clients navigate changes and challenges in their lives.
