Alicia Diorio is a Child Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Forest Hills, Queens. She has been practicing in the mental health field for 16 years and has acquired formal training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinical work on the Inpatient Child Psychiatric Unit and in the Partial Hospitalization Program for Children and Adolescents, has provided a wide range of expertise in mental health and psychiatric conditions.

Currently in private practice, she specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents. An Integrative approach combines techniques from various orientations. Types of therapy may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Play Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Orientations are often combined for the benefit of each patient.

Eric Kalman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned his Master of Social Work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work in 2019. He has extensive experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of outpatient settings. Eric brings a thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to treatment, grounded in a strong understanding of development, behavior, and emotional functioning.

Eric has worked with individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health and behavioral concerns, including anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. His clinical experience includes individual, group, family, and couples therapy, as well as Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs (PRP).

In addition to his clinical work, Eric has served as a Clinical Supervisor, supporting master’s-level clinicians in the development of strong clinical skills, and as an Associate Director of an outpatient mental health clinic, contributing to clinical leadership and program development.

Eric utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy. Tamika Randolph is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over two decades of experience dedicated to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and has built her career around helping young people navigate life’s challenges with empathy, skill, and care.

Tamika brings extensive school-based clinical experience, having worked for 13 years as a middle school social worker and five years in a high school setting. This background has given her a deep understanding of the developmental, social, and emotional needs of youth across critical stages of growth.

Tamika utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She helps clients identify their strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and work toward meaningful, goal-oriented change in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Known for her compassionate and affirming presence, Tamika is particularly skilled in supporting youth experiencing communication challenges, low self-esteem, and trauma. She is committed to creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Group Therapy Christina Hoodho is a nationally registered and board-certified Art Therapist, as well as a New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. She earned her Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University and brings over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds.

Christina has worked in a wide range of clinical and community-based settings, including schools, hospitals, inpatient psychiatric programs, group homes and foster care systems, recreational programs, and cultural institutions. Her experience includes supporting children with developmental disabilities, autism, and emotional or behavioral challenges, as well as working with LGBTQ+ youth.

Christina provides individual psychotherapy, art therapy, and group therapy, and also works as an executive functioning coach for children and adolescents. In addition to her clinical work, she offers supervision and staff trainings, helping professionals better understand and utilize the therapeutic and healing qualities of the arts.

Grounded in both evidence-based practice and holistic care, Christina thoughtfully integrates creative and holistic techniques into her work. Influenced by her own experiences with Eastern medicine, Ayurveda, holistic health practices, and Native American shamanism, she approaches therapy with respect for the mind–body connection while remaining attuned to each child’s unique needs.

Julie Schnur is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker with a strong background in child development and family-centered care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Tufts University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the NYU Silver School of Social Work. Julie brings extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across a variety of clinical and community-based settings.

Julie has provided individual, group, and family therapy in hospital-based psychiatric programs, community centers, and private practice. These experiences have allowed her to develop a broad and thoughtful understanding of the emotional, developmental, and mental health needs of children and teens, as well as the important role families play in the therapeutic process.

In addition to her clinical work, Julie has conducted research in child and adolescent development. Her research has explored topics such as identity development in adopted children, the impact of maternal smoking during pregnancy on adolescent development, and the effectiveness of treatment models for substance use in adolescents.

Julie takes a warm, integrative approach to therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and play-based techniques. She is deeply committed to creating a compassionate and supportive environment where children, adolescents, and families feel understood, respected, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
